Belgium, one of the main actors in the comic strips, had to have its own museum over this art.
It is installed in the old Waucquez stores, built by Victor Horta in 1906. This museum shelters an incredible historical and contemporary collection of plates and objects over the comic strip and its authors. You can also follow in one of the first halls the genesis of the comic strip. On the ground floor, you will find the largest comic strip library in the world, one reading room and a restaurant which makes a good stopover to have lunch.

Access :
- limited parking spaces on the street
- no reserved parking spaces for the PRM
- very irregular street

Entrance :
- the main entrance has three steps to climb, so the persons in a wheelchair enter through a side door leading to the restaurant.
- This door is not always open.

Inside :
- the ground floor is entirely at floor-level
- access to the other floors by elevator, to the right of the stairs, behind a door
- the adapted toilet is also located on the ground floor behind the same door, unfortunately there is just one adapted toilet, the door is 1.20 m large
- the exhibition is located on the first floor, there are no stairs and the spaces are connected with ramps measuring 1.50 m which simplifies the circulation
- to get to the congressroom you need to take steps, this blocks the access for the wheelachairusers

Visit :
- ground floor at floor-level
- access to the storeys via an elevator.

Shop :
- is located on the ground floor
- everything is at floor-level
- the passage between the racks is too small, wheelchairusers cannot get through.
